Goals

This Detroit Industry Standards Board Study investigates the inaugural Industry Standards Board (ISB) in Detroit, Michigan, which is focusing on the working conditions of arena workers at Ford Field, Comerica Park, and Little Caesar’s Arena. Our research team has three goals:

• Work  in partnership with the Detroit ISB, workers, labor leaders, and community partners to help identify workers’ needs to inform the ISB’s work
• Answer a broad research question: What is the impact of the first Detroit Labor Standards Board on arena workers?  
• Provide information about ISBs to the Detroit community and other communities implementing ISBs
